How to set up the Homehero Integration

The integration between Minut and your PMS will allow you to sync your Minut properties with your PMS data. If loud noise is detected at a property, the people staying in the property will automatically receive a message, letting them know to keep it down.

All integrations can be linked via our web app.

Connecting Minut with Homehero

  1. Send a support request to support@homstar.com.au with the subject:
    "Create Private API Key/Password".

    You will then be given a secure one-time link with an API key and secret that only lasts for 7 days and can only be used once.

  2. Click "Connect"

    1. Insert the API key and secret from the email.

    2. Link your Minut units with the corresponding HomHero areas

  3. From the Minut mobile or web app:

    • Turn on noise monitoring.

    • Enable SMS or Autocall from noise monitoring settings.

Communicate with stays

Once you have linked your Minut rental units with your Homhero listings you can now set up Messaging, once this has been done, those who are staying at your rental will be alerted if noise levels are above the set threshold during their stay.
