Issues charging the sensor
Charging Sensor
When you receive the Minut sensor it's usually not fully charged, so start out with charging it. The battery can last for up to a year before charging is needed.
You can follow the charging progress at the battery indicator on the back of the sensor. The lights blink when charging and turn solid when charged. (picture below) A full charge should take 1-4 hours.
You charge the device by using the USB-C charging cable.
Is Minut hardwired? You can choose to use the Minut sensor with just the battery. However, it works perfectly well to use it plugged in at all times. Keep in mind that the The Gen 3 sensor can be hardwired indoors only.
Where is the ON button? The ON button is located on the back of the Minut. In the beginning, you need to remove the magnetic metal plate from the device. Once you have removed it, you can see the button and the LED charge light.
