The scheduled alarm lets you create rules that automatically turn the security alarm on or off at set days and times. Each rule applies to a specific rental unit. You can create multiple rules per unit to cover recurring visits or different days of the week.
Not available in outdoor mode. The security alarm and scheduled alarm are not supported on M3 sensors installed in outdoor mode.
Common use cases
Cleaning visits
Automatically disable the alarm every Wednesday at 4pm when the cleaner arrives; no need to manually disarm it before each visit. | Maintenance windows
Schedule the alarm off during a regular maintenance slot and back on automatically once the window closes |
Night-only monitoring
Turn the alarm on at 10pm and off at 8am every night for properties where daytime activity is expected but night-time monitoring is a priority. | Between stays
Arm the alarm automatically when a stay ends and disarm it before check-in without manual intervention for each booking. |
Add a schedule rule
The scheduled alarm settings are only available on the mobile app.
Mobile app
Tap Properties and select the rental unit
Tap the settings icon (⚙) in the top right corner
Scroll down to Scheduled alarm
Tap Add a rule
Select whether the rule should enable or disable the alarm, then set the day and time
Tap Add a rule to save
The rule repeats at that day and time every week until deleted

Create pairs of rules. A rule that disarms the alarm doesn't automatically re-arm it. To have the alarm turn off at 4pm and back on at 5pm, create two rules: one to disable at 4pm and one to enable at 5pm.
Rules are per unit. Scheduled alarm rules apply to one rental unit at a time. If you want the same schedule across multiple units, add rules to each unit separately.
Delete or edit a rule
To delete an existing rule, open the rental unit settings, scroll to Scheduled alarm, and swipe left on the rule you want to remove (iOS) or long-press it (Android). Select Delete. To change a rule, delete it and create a new one with the updated settings.
