The Enso Connect integration lets you send Minut events to Enso Connect, a guest experience platform, so it can message your guests and notify your team when something happens at a property. You set up the pairing and the messaging rules in Enso Connect.
About Enso Connect
Enso Connect is a guest experience platform for vacation rentals and boutique hotels. It offers features to simplify and enhance the guest journey, focusing on personalization and monetization of guest interactions:
AI messaging and custom automations
Seamless digital guest experiences
Increased revenue
What the integration does
Sends Minut events to Enso Connect: noise disturbances, low battery alerts and the other sensor events available through the Minut API.
Lets Enso Connect message people: using the templates and rules you set up in Enso Connect, it can send guest messages by email, SMS, WhatsApp or Airbnb messages, and team notifications by SMS, email or mobile.
Logs everything in one inbox: Enso Connect's messaging inbox shows each Minut event, the guest staying at the time, and any messages sent.
All guest messages and team notifications are sent by Enso Connect, not by Minut. Minut's own guest messaging is separate, see Messaging. Minut's noise monitoring stays privacy-safe: there are no cameras and no audio recordings.
Connect Minut with Enso Connect
Go to the Integrations menu in the web app.
Find the Enso Connect tile and follow the link. It opens Enso Connect's setup page in a new tab.
In Enso Connect, add Minut as a device provider and sign in to your Minut account when prompted. Enso Connect then finds your Minut units and sensors.
Pair each Minut sensor with the matching Enso Connect listing.
Once the sensors are paired, their events reach Enso Connect and can trigger the messages and notifications you set up there.
The Integrations page in Minut can't show a "connected" checkmark for Enso Connect, because the connection is made through a shared connector. To check that the integration is active, sign in to Enso Connect and confirm that Minut appears as a connected device provider and your sensors are paired.
What you set up in Enso Connect
Pairing: which Minut sensors belong to which Enso Connect listing. Once connected, you can see all your Minut units and sensors in Enso Connect. Selecting a sensor shows its noise threshold, battery level and a log of reported events.
Guest messages: the templates and rules that run when a noise event arrives, so the people staying at the property are contacted by email, SMS, WhatsApp or Airbnb messages.
Team notifications: who in your team is notified, and by which channel (SMS, email or mobile), for noise events and low battery alerts.
Messaging log: every noise event and the messages sent for it, along with the name of the guest linked to the event.
Good to know
No Minut plan requirement: the Enso Connect integration is available to all Minut organizations. Any pricing or plan requirements come from Enso Connect.
Guest names need booking data: for Enso Connect to link the right guest to an event, the booking must come from a Minut PMS integration or be entered in Enso Connect.
Events are limited to what the Minut API provides: Enso Connect only receives the events that Minut makes available through its API.
Setup and changes happen in Enso Connect: pairing, templates and notification settings are managed there, not in the Minut app. To stop Enso Connect from receiving your Minut data, remove Minut inside Enso Connect.
If you use both Minut's own guest messaging (SMS or Autocall) and Enso Connect for the same noise event, guests can receive duplicate messages. If you send communications through Enso Connect, consider turning off SMS and Autocall in your Noise Preset.
Troubleshooting
Not sure the integration is active? Sign in to Enso Connect and check that Minut is listed as a connected device provider and that your sensors are paired to listings.
Messages are not being sent? In Enso Connect, check your automation rules, message templates and notification settings.
