The integration between Minut and tado° helps you save energy by setting a linked tado° room to an energy-saving state between Stays, and returning it to your tado° schedule before the next Guest arrives.
Minut works with the tado° V3+ Smart Thermostat and the V3+ Smart AC Control.
Please note that Minut does not support tado° X devices or hot-water zones.
All integrations are managed from the Minut web app.

Connect Minut with tado°
Step 1: Installing
Create an account with tado° and install the tado° V3+ Smart Thermostat or V3+ Smart AC Control in each property you want to control.
Step 2: Connect Minut with tado°
In the Minut web app, open Integrations and choose tado°.
Click Connect, sign in with your tado° account and approve Minut's access.
You can connect more than one tado° account to the same organization. Rooms from all connected accounts appear together when you link your Rental units.
Step 3: Link your Rental units
After connecting, you'll see your tado° homes and their rooms. Link each Minut Rental unit to one tado° room so Minut controls the right one.
One Rental unit links to one tado° room, and a room can't be linked to more than one Rental unit.
Once linked, Minut adjusts the room at Check-out and before the next Check-in.
How Minut adjusts your tado° devices
At Check-out, Minut sets the room to an energy-saving state:
Heating (Smart Thermostat): the temperature is set to 15°C.
Air conditioning (Smart AC Control): the AC is turned off.
Before the next Check-in, Minut removes this setting so the room goes back to your own tado° schedule. By default this happens 3 hours before Check-in.
Minut does not turn air conditioning back on before Check-in. If you want the AC running when Guests arrive, set this up in your tado° schedule.
If a Guest changes the temperature during their Stay, Minut won't change it until the next Check-out.
Pre-arrival time
You can choose how long before Check-in Minut returns the room to your tado° schedule.
Default: 3 hours.
Change it for each Rental unit in the tado° integration settings in the Minut web app.
If the next Check-in is sooner than this, Minut does it straight away.
When adjustments run
Minut only makes adjustments when the Rental unit has an upcoming Stay. Stays can be added manually or come from Airbnb or your PMS integration.
If a Guest is already checked in, Minut won't change their settings.
If the next Guest arrives soon after the previous one leaves, Minut skips the energy-saving step so the room is ready in time.
If the integration is disconnected
If your tado° account is disconnected, Minut stops adjusting the linked rooms until you reconnect. A room that was set to energy-saving will stay at 15°C (or with the AC off) until you reconnect or change it in the tado° app.
Who can manage tado°
Organization owners and admins can connect tado° accounts, link and unlink Rental units, change the pre-arrival time and disconnect accounts.
Members can view the integration but not change it.
Guests can still use the tado° device directly during their Stay.
