Connect Minut with Boom to bring your guests' stays into Minut. Minut uses the stay details to message the people staying at the property automatically if noise gets too loud.
Where to connect: all integrations are connected in the web app at web.minut.com → Integrations. PMS integrations are available on the Pro plan.
Boom is an AI-powered property management system for the vacation rental and short-term rental industry. It helps property managers automate tasks, optimize pricing and deliver great guest service.
Before you start
A Minut account on the Pro plan, and you are an organization admin in Minut
A Boom account with your listings
Permission in Boom to create a booking engine and API credentials
Your Boom API key and secret. Boom emails them to you when you create a booking engine.
Connect Minut with Boom
Go to the Integrations menu in the web app and select Boom.
In the Boom app, go to Configuration → Settings → Websites → New booking engine and create a new booking engine.
Boom emails the API key and secret to the address on your Boom account. If you do not receive them, contact Boom support.
In Minut, click Connect and enter the Boom API key and secret.
Link your rental units
Link each of your Minut rental units to the matching Boom listing, or to an individual unit under a parent listing. Listings with sub-units are expanded so every unit can be linked separately.
Only linked rental units receive stay information from Boom.
What syncs
Once a rental unit is linked, Minut receives these details about the people staying at the property from Boom:
Name
Phone number
Check-in and check-out times
The property they are staying at
Minut imports recent, ongoing and future Confirmed and Reserved reservations. Inquiries are not imported. If a reservation moves out of Confirmed or Reserved (for example it is cancelled, closed, declined or expired), Minut removes the matching guest.
On the first import, Minut fetches reservations starting six months back, but skips those that ended more than 30 days ago unless the stay is still ongoing. After that, new bookings, changes and cancellations in Boom update Minut automatically.
Minut does not send messages or notes back into Boom. Stay reservations are deleted from Minut (not from Boom) 14 days after the check-out date.
Messages to guests
When stay information is available and loud noise is detected, Minut can contact the people staying at the property. Set up noise alert messages in your Noise Preset, and check-in, check-out and other scheduled messages in Guest Journey.
Replies to messages appear in your Inbox.
For an overview, see Messaging.
Disconnect
To disconnect Boom, open Integrations in the web app, select Boom and disconnect it.
When you disconnect, Minut removes its webhook from your Boom account and stops syncing reservations. To resume, connect again and link your rental units again. Unlinking a single rental unit only removes that link and does not disconnect your Boom account.
Troubleshooting
The connection shows an authentication error
If the Boom credentials were revoked or changed, reservations stop syncing until you reconnect. Create a new booking engine in Boom if needed, then open Integrations, select Boom, click Connect and enter the new API key and secret.
A reservation is missing
Only Confirmed and Reserved reservations are imported, and the rental unit must be linked to the Boom listing. Check the reservation status in Boom and the link in Minut. Also check that you are on the Pro plan, which PMS integrations require.
The first import shows a temporary partner issue
This happens when Boom is rate-limiting or temporarily unavailable. Wait a few minutes and try linking again.
A guest's phone number is missing
Booking.com stopped sharing guest phone numbers through PMS connections on 28 September 2026, so some stays arrive without one. Open the stay in the Minut web app and add the number to the imported reservation.
If none of this helps, contact our support team at hello@minut.com and tell us which rental unit is affected and what you see.
