What is a noise incident report

Only available on the Pro Plan

A noise incident report is a structured, downloadable PDF record of all noise events at a single rental unit over a specific window of up to 24 hours. It captures timestamps, decibel readings, alert stages, and the full escalation sequence giving you clear, objective evidence when you need to document what happened at a property.

What the report contains

  • Noise event timeline: every threshold crossing with exact timestamps and decibel levels

  • Alert stages triggered: which escalation steps fired (first, second, third warning) and when

  • Guest contact log: automated messages or calls sent to guests and at what time

  • Resolution timestamp: when noise dropped back below threshold and the event closed

  • Decibel graph: average and peak noise levels across the selected time window

When to use it

Guest disputes

Support a damage claim or security deposit dispute on Airbnb or any other platform with time-stamped evidence.

Neighbour or authority complaints

Show objective noise data and evidence that you acted to address the issue demonstrating responsible operation.

Insurance claims

Document when an event occurred, how long it lasted, and the steps taken to resolve it.

Internal records

For hotels and multifamily operators, maintain a formal record of incidents in individual rooms or units.
