You can configure your Minut to send you notifications when the noise levels, temperature or humidity exceeds a certain value of your choice. You can look at the graph to determine what levels you should set the threshold to.

For the sound graph, you can see the average noise level as a solid black line, while the grey areas represent maximum and minimum values.

To find where to configure thresholds on your account, you will need to go to the Noise Preset settings.

To do so, just follow these steps:

  1. Go to Properties & choose the rental unit you'd like to change the threshold for

  2. Click on the Settings icon in the upper right corner.

  3. Click on Noise Monitoring Preset

4. Here you can choose a noise monitoring preset that you have already created or, you can edit the preset already assigned to your rental unit. Keep in mind however, if you change the noise preset within the rental unit, this will change the settings for all other units that are using this preset on your account as well.

You cannot create a new Noise Preset from the rental settings area. You can only edit already created Noise Presets.

You will need to create the new Preset in the Noise Preset settings area first. You can find those instructions here.

6. Press Save.

The new thresholds will be set when your Minut updates, which happens once per hour. For a prompt update, just press the main button on your Minut device and your changes will take effect immediately.
