What is a Legacy Plan?

Minut introduced new pricing on April 28th, 2022. If you purchased a subscription before this date, you may be on a legacy plan.

Can I sign up for a legacy plan?

No. You can no longer sign up for legacy plans. If you are currently on a legacy plan you can continue to use it until the end of your current billing period.

Leaving a legacy plan

If you upgrade your account to a current plan or cancel your subscription, you will be unable to return to a legacy plan.

Can I purchase an additional M3 device?

Yes.

  1. Go to the Minut store and sign-in with your Minut account on the top right of the page

  2. Scroll down to Plan & devices

  3. Click the Minus button to remove the plan

  4. Scroll down to Additional devices

  5. Choose how many sensors you need

What is changing with the new plans?

Smoking detection is available on all plans: Starter, Standard, Pro along as you have an M3 device.

Kickstarter Users

Kickstarter plan overview:

Kickstarter Backers from the campaigns in 2014 and 2017 will continue to receive Standard legacy Plan for up to two properties using the original Kickstarter hardware without charge.

There is no support anymore and no further activations are made.

If you would like to receive support or purchase new hardware, you will be required to upgrade to a current subscription plan.

How do I update my subscription?

On your Minut WebApp

Open your Minut web app:

  1. Log in, click on the profile icon on your left

  2. Add a payment method (if you've not done so already)

  3. Click on "Change Plan" and select the plan that you want to subscribe to.

On your Minut App

Open the app on your phone:

  1. Click on the profile icon in the top left corner by the name of your organisation

  2. Click on your name

  3. Scroll down and select "Manage plan"

  4. Add a payment method (if you've not done so already)

  5. Click on "Change Plan" and select the plan that you want to subscribe to.

We offer our kickstarter users a discount code for upgrading their accounts.

To receive the code, kindly contact our support team at hello@minut.com and provide:

  • Your Minut account email address

  • Your kickstarter backer number.

Please note that once you upgrade your account, it will not be possible to downgrade in the future.
