Does Point work with IFTTT?
No, our focus lies on the Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit and Google Assistant integrations.
Instead of IFTTT, we are now supporting integrations via Zapier. Zapier s a service that allows the user to integrate the web applications they use through creating Zaps. A Zap is an automated task that can run repeatedly and it consists of a collection of triggers and/or filters and actions, so this could be an alternative solution.

Why not IFTTT?
This is the message Minut’s CEO sent out, at the time we discontinued the support for IFTTT, which explains the decision:
"We heard you... we're going native.
At Minut we pride ourselves on making our products a little bit better every day. You have gotten used to seeing improvements of the user experience and functionality with every release, so it's not an easy decision for us to take a step back and sunset the IFTTT integration. Here's why and what's replacing it.
Two weeks ago we sent you an email survey asking how you are using IFTTT with Minut. This was prompted by a new invoice from IFTTT more than twenty-five times higher than the previous year. Obviously, this raises concerns and poses an issue for a startup like Minut. We turned to you for advice on whether the service would be worth it. This is what we learnt.
We contacted our active IFTTT users and expected a result biased in favour of the service, but the data came in very different from what we had thought. Over 73% of you "Never" or "Not very frequently" feel that you get value from the integration and less than 2% get daily value.
Considering that the sample set of responses are from active users, this ultimately led us to discontinue the service. If you keep up to date with tech news, you might have seen that Google recently announced similar plans.
When asked which service you'd want Minut to connect to if you could only choose one, less than 2% said IFTTT with a majority preferring native integrations.
Based on this data, we came to the conclusion that our customers would be better served if we focused our resources on Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit and Google Assistant integrations. You will see the results of this focus in the coming weeks.
